Through our Scholarship Programs we provide financial support to some of our Associated Foundations that already have amazing programs in place as well as specific conservation photographers. These foundations and photographers are vetted by us to make sure that they help us fulfill our mission and also to ascertain that they are being run efficiently and correctly.
We are very proud of being able to support the NANPA Foundation by offering them a grant to help fund their Youth Conservation Photography Program (High School Scholarship Program).
The fStop Foundation’s grant is for a total of $15,000 granted over the next three years (approximately $5,000 per year) supporting the program for 2017 through 2019.
The NANPA High School Scholarship Program is an immersive education program at the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This special photography program is open to high school students who are interested in nature and nature photography. Combining classroom and field-based instruction, students will have the chance to improve their nature photography skills, learn about NANPA, meet industry professionals, and gain an appreciation of the Smoky Mountains’ rich natural history.
