ZooMiami Photo Meetup, January 2018

We had an amazing time at the ZooMiami PhotoMeetup with over 30 students and parents participating.  Students included both middle school as well as high school students with varying ranges in knowledge and camera equipment.

Our instructors were Olympic photographer (and fStop Contributing Photographer) Marc Serota, Digital Photography instructor Judie Jackowitz, and fStop Foundation president William Freund.

Students had a chance to photograph a variety of animals ranging from Florida Black Bears to African Elephants and learned how to photograph animals and their habitats as well as techniques that can help them become better conservation photographers.

Like we do after each Photo Meetup, we asked students to submit three of their images as part of a contest that was judged by the three instructors.  Below are the winners.  Enjoy!
