The best way to effect true change is through education. There are fewer things that are more fun and exciting than teaching people about nature and the environment, especially younger people!
In order to accomplish this goal, the fStop Foundation has two seperate programs:
Scholarship Programs: We very carefully select other organizations that are leaders in the field of educating and creating awareness of conservation by using photography as a teaching method. One such organization with which we are proud to partner with and support is the NANPA Foundation. We have committed to support their Youth Conservation Photography Program (High School Scholarship Program) with a 3 year grant totalling $15,000 ($5,000 per year).
Photo Meetups: We bring together groups of students and professional photographers in locations that are related to conservation. The end result is an amazing experience which envigorates and teaches everybody involved!
