A Trip Through China

When taking this shot, I felt amazement at the acceptance by the monkeys of the human tourists. The mountains were so beautiful, and these monkeys just provided another element of true wilderness. I took this image in the Tianzi mountains, Zhangjiajie, Hunan province, China.

This was an incredible moment that I was honored to capture. I was so happy that the mother and the tiny, nursing baby felt comfortable enough to stay so close to me and allow me to photograph them. That true, natural sight was a once in a lifetime experience. I took this image in the Tianzi mountains, Zhangjiajie, Hunan province, China.

These mountain formations were extraordinary. These stacks were like a forest of trees; it was very cool to photograph, especially in the clouds. I took this image in the Tianzi mountains, Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, China.

These mountains are the inspiration for the Avatar movie mountains location. Seeing that artistic interpretation come in life in the real world with real, natural mountains was incredible. I took this image at the Hallelujah mountain, Tianzi mountains, Zhangjiajie, Hunan province, China.

Standing atop the glass bridge, this view felt unreal. With the clouds, mountains, and roads all below me, I could not believe the sight before me. I took this image in the Tianmen mountains, Hunan Province China.

Waking up in the mountains and looking out the window, I saw this beautiful fog engulfing the mountaintops, and I just had to capture it. I love the lone, little tree on the edge. I took this image in the Guangxi Region, Southern China.

While floating on the river raft with my brother, I could feel the serenity and see the true beauty of
the environment around me. I took this image on the Yulonghe River, Southern China.

When floating on the river raft with my brother, I was fortunate enough to encounter the natural, everyday activities and peaceful lifestyles of those in the mountains. The people I saw were so harmonious with nature. I took this image on the Yulonghe River, Southern China.

Seeing how people live in different cultures was an amazing experience. Seeing the way they cultivate their crops, and seeing how full of design the organization was was very cool. I took this image in the Longji rice terraces, Longsheng China.

This image, though it is in the mountains, contains beautiful, local architecture. The structures were so old that they had become a part of the scenery. I took this image in the Longji rice terraces, Longsheng China.
